Former professional dancer, best selling author and personal trainer, Maeve has been educating women, helping them improve their health, body confidence and find a new found love for fitness for over a decade. Maeve, who is also a health and fitness influencer with almost 350K followers has also embraced the online world and during the pandemic launched her own online fitness platform – Queens Don’t Quit’ to help her clients of all stages in their fitness journey to become fitter, stronger and more body confident from the comfort of their own home.
Phil has been embedded in the health and fitness industry globally for over a decade. From writing the internationally recognised diabetic muscle and fitness book, launching The Fitness Entrepreneur Podcast, (which has #1 on the iTunes health charts several times), to educating personal trainers from across the world each year through public seminars, workshops and keynotes at some of the world’s most respected health and fitness exhibitions
Ian Young, who has been on the judging panel since the Awards inception in 2018 is one of the leading figures in Northern Ireland’s health and fitness industry with over 20 years experience. For over a decade Ian has been running one of the largest and most popular Bootcamp / Group Training sessions on the Island of Ireland. During the pandemic, Ian started coaching online which has gone from strength to strength and in turn has resulted in Ian building a one stop online training hub for all your health & fitness needs
Stephen is a former Irish Rugby Union player who played for Ulster, Ireland and the British and Irish Lions. Stephen retired from rugby in June 2014 after a long battle with injury, but since then he has written his autobiography ‘Man and Ball’ and is a regular rugby analyst for many broadcasters. Stephen likes to maintain a healthy lifestyle and is an avid gym goer, he also enjoys playing golf on a regular basis which is his new found passion
Connor Smyth was the winner of season 6 of Channel 4’s 2021 reality TV show ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’. He is also a professional dancer /performer, touring the world with Lord of the Dance. Connor is also one half of Fitdance.com (Fit ID) an online training programme for Irish Dancers Connor is passionate about inspiring the next generation of Irish Dancers and winning SAS Who Dares Wins showcases the physical and mental strength of Irish Dancers
